Super Useful House Hold Produsts

Everyone uses several different types of products to keep their homes clean and disinfected. How many people really know what kinds of poisons are in the cleaning products they use? If you are like me then you are only thinking of the end result when cleaning. The truth is that the products you use to clean could be poisoning you and your family. According to some studies, the air inside our homes could be worse than the air outside and with today's environment that's hard to do. No one wants a dirty home but at what price do we have to pay to keep our houses clean. Have you ever read the ingredients on the back of the cleaning product that you use? Most of what I read on the labels of products, I don't know what they are or how to say them. What we don't know about these labeled chemicals could be poisoning us.

Let's look at some of the polishes we use to make things look nice. A lot of polishes we use contain lead. We spray them on most of the items in our house. They are sprayed into the air and can stay there for long periods of time. We then use the vacuum to clean with and if it doesn't have a good filter, the lead can go right back into the air for everyone to breathe. It is hard to tell just how much poison is in the things we use. Have you ever used newspaper to clean the windows? The ink on the paper has lead in it and can be rubbed off very easily adding more exposure for your family. Some of the side effects of lead poisoning are abdominal pain, allergies, concentration loss, headaches, joint pain, and nausea to name a few. You might not even know the symptoms you have might be a result of lead poisoning. A lot of the everyday aches and pains could be the first signs that we are poisoning ourselves with cleaning products.

Some of the products we use should be no-brainers as to if they are harmful to us. Let's take a look at the insecticides we use to kill bugs that we don't want in our homes. A lot of insecticides contain mercury and other things to kill bugs. If it is killing other living things how good can they be for us? How about cleaning the bathroom, we use chemicals to kill mold, mildew, and fungus which also contain mercury. We use the word kill because they are living organisms. Again, if it is killing them, what kinds of things can we attribute to the chemicals we use and how it affects our bodies? All of the things we use to clean can be adding to our toxin burden and poison us. The water we use to clean with has a lot of heavy metals in it like lead, cadmium, copper, and mercury. Everything is said to be OK for you in low quantities but the problem is that we are being bombarded by them every day.

I am not telling you not to clean or to live outside, just to be aware of the products that you bring into your house. Your toxic burden is only going to get worse with daily living, be wise and choose products that are more natural and better for the environment. There are ways you can protect your family from the onslaught of poisons that surround us. Your body will naturally remove some poisons but it does need help to keep up with the ever-growing number of pollutants from our environment. You take the trash out of your home every day; why not take the trash out of your body every day as well. I am here to tell you there are methods out there to help you do just that. Do some research on how you can protect your family from these invisible killers, if you don't do it for yourself then who will do it for you? Help is out there, find some for yourself.
