Tempered glass is reused in a different way than the standard type. All types of glass are manufactured by mixing lime, beach, and pop ash, and also melting them at extremely high temperatures. Still, it could shatter completely without leaving any complete areas. For this reason, they're chosen whenever safety is top precedence. Standard glass offers further security since there are corridors that will stay complete indeed if a certain section gets broken. 

Tempered glass is more resistant to both heat and scrapes as compared to non-treated glass. Still, its outside appearance looks analogous to that of standard glass. Both types can be bepainted and colored, plus, they're available in a range of sizes and consistency.
